Tommorrow morning

I will hit a 5 minute mark from wake up to walk out. There will be no preparation tonight.
Here is my strategy.

1. Wake up to iphone alarm. (Jackpot alarm)
2. Set stop watch. 00:00:00
3. Walk into master bathroom 00:05:00 (This saves me a couple seconds)
4. Grab toothbrush and tooth paste from sink 00:12.00
5. Turn on shower, set temperature 00:20:00
6. DON’T HESITATE, JUMP IN NO MATTER HOW COLD. The colder the better. This will give
me the boost I need to hit my mark.
7. Rinse in shower as I apply toothpaste to toothbrush. 00:45.00
8. Brush Teeth 02:00.00 (This is optimistic) By this time the water is normally heated and I become docile. (Flossing happens at night)
9. Discard Toothbrush in holder.02:10:00
10. Apply & Lather Shampoo 02:30:00
11. Instead of rinsing shampoo out, Let sit while lathering body wash generously. 03:30.01
12. Rinse 03:45.01 (This is where you have to make up time)
13. Cut water. 03:50.00
14. Grab towel outside of shower on rack 03:55.00
15. Dry. 04:15.00
16. Apply deodorant and cologne. (Just in case) 04:30.00

This is where things get hairy. (I have been growing a beard for the past month, so I don’t have to worry about shaving. Grooming can be done another time.

I have 30 seconds to get dressed and walk out the door. The usual Pants, T-shirt, Briefs, Socks, and Chucks is the wardrobe of choice. I have been wearing this combination for 24 years. I have mastered this process.

Hopefully all will go to plan. There are certain factors that can destroy this system. A morning dump is the biggest obstacle. Tripping over things in my room is another hazzard. Like I said there is no preparation. All times will reflect a normal day in my life.

Why am I doing this? I am a freelancer who doesn’t have to go to work till 12. I have all the time in the world.
