Kanye leans on the French for success.
Today I saw Kanye West’s new video for his song “The good life” and something immediatley felt very familiar about it. When I compared his video (found here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmX9ci9Fczw ) with the video for the French electronic duo Justice’s “D.A.N.C.E. (found here on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fo_QVq2lGMs ) I was shocked at the simularities.
After Daft Punk rocketed Kanye’s single “Stronger” up the charts, it was no surprise he would take inspiration from (a.k.a. rip off) the French electronic scene again.
