Recently ran in to a problem with OSX Lion (10.7)

This weekend I had to re-install the “technicolor cinestyle” picture profile on to my 5D MKii for a shoot. The only way to do this is to use Canon’s EOS Utility. Unfortunately the version I had (2.10.2) was not compatible. K. Canons seem to be ignoring the issue. After frantically looking for an answer at 3am the great internet revealed that I should install version (2.8.1). Why does this work; I do not know. How someone arrived at this solution; I am unsure. It works and that is all my client needed to know. Thanks Canon Internet!
